TEACHING FACULTY
Dr Gao-Jun Teng is the Professor of Radiology, Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, Nanjing China. He completed his medical education in 1982, received his M.S. degree and Ph.D degree from Nanjing Railway Medical College and Fudan University in 1989 and 2003, respectively. He finished his resident training in radiology in Jinhua municipal Hospital during 1982 to 1986, and fellowship of interventional radiology in Zhejiang Provincial Hospital in 1987. He was a research fellow of interventional radiology in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 1995 to 1998.
Dr Teng has extensive experiences in various interventional procedures including interventional oncology, spinal interventions, and vascular interventions, etc. Dr Teng has been the professor and chair of radiology, Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, Nanjing, China since 1998, and become the Dean, Medical School, Southeast University since 2009. Dr Teng has published more than 100 English peer-review papers in Lancet Oncology, Radiology, CVIR, etc. He was the President, Chinese Society of Interventional Radiology (CSIR) in term of 2009-2011, and currently as the Vice President of Chinese Society of Radiology (CSR). Dr Teng is the Fellow of SIR and the Fellow of CIRSE, and he was one of the “Distinguished Fellow” of CIRSE 2015.
